Hi im backZ...

hi everyone!! im back frm my KL trip!! it was reali fun.. yeah it was not as enviromental frenli as Singapore.. but seeing the culture there is reali interesting..

TRAFFIC :

Their taxis there has meter but they dun use it at all!! they will flag a price and u bargain with them.. but most of the time dey flag very high prices.. dats one thing i dislike abt KL. And the taxis are everywhere! they hav a lot of taxis and vehicles due to the large population.. but most of them are vacant for hire... One tip, go for indian drivers. They are more frenli and prices are lower.. easy to bargain with them. But if can take bus or their KTM(similar to our MRT and LRT.), juz take. becoz its a lot cheaper and u get to see different thingz and encounters!!

The buses there are interestin.. the buses are similar to coaches.. but smaller version. and they dun look new lah of coz.. the buses have got a driver, and a conductor. Your bus trip will begin like this.
1 : the conductors and drivers wil get off bus and shout out their destinations.. eg. "KOTA RAYA!! KOTA RAYA!! CHEE CHIONG KAI!! PUDU!!"

2 : you get up the bus if u are going there.

3 : it cost at most RM2.50 to take a bus trip. u sit on the bus, wait for conductor to collect money frm u.

4 : the conductor wil den issue u a ticket for the trip!

5 : at every stop, the conductor or driver will shout out the name of that destination. Or u can ring the bell to ask them to stop almost at anywhere!! Cool!!

This is the favourite part i like abt KL.. the bus trip is always so interesting.. its so stone age and classic i guess!! yeah! and i kept a couple of those bus tickets as souveniors! the tickets are juz very very thin pieces of papers(low quality and design is very very not new age one.. hehe)!! i like it alot!

Also their traffic.. is horrible.. a lot of jams and funny thingz...
Singapore : Cars afraid of people.
Malaysia : People afraid of cars.
Let me explain.. Singapore reali stick to traffic rules.. the traffic lights are very important to keep the traffic rules working here. But in KL, the drivers 'anyhow anyhow ham tum'.. when it is red light, and no one is crossing the road at the point of time or if passengers hesitates to cross, the cars juz 'Broomss' pass.. horrible right?? very dangerous to cross the road. and while u are crossing, impatient drivers may juz horn at u.. so pls ar.. ah gongs n ah mas better dun go..
Hmmm.. the drivers also got direction prob.. the road.. they can turn in or travel at any direction.. lets say.. u can oni turn left at the junction.. but they turn right also. And a single direction lane, u get to see cars cummin face to face... -_-.. and den again, traffic jam..
Not to mention, the whole day got a lot of jam and accidents.. heng i nv encounter.. but i read their papers saying 28 died in a road accident there on the first day of my trip at around 3pm.. lucki dat time i already reached my hotel le..

PEOPLE :

Hmmmm.. i hav to say that its a very big disadvantage for me becoz i dunno how to speak malay.. lucki ah ger n her mummy are gd at it. becoz they speak to their maids in malay. haiz.. most of the time i look at them when they are communicatin to the people there n i juz act smart and buah bodoh lah.. haha.. but im determined to learn next time before i go KL or m.sia..
It is important becoz if u noe malay lang, taxi dun dare flag at such high price as they would think we r the locals.. but most of the time they can tell frm yr clothingz.. and also, ALMOST EVERYONE speaks in malay. Even indians and chinese.. some chinese oni noe cantonese/hokkien and malay.. they dun understand chinese.. so, u gotta b lingual with one of those dialects and malay lang to b at the upper hand. Even so, u find chinese who noes hokkien as rare liaoz.. so far, i oni spoke hokkien to 3 of the chi ppl there..

Their shop assistants are not as frenli as singapore one la.. they sort of heck care heck care.. 'u buy or dun buy i also likdat' type. I seldom get to see shop assistants who will greet customers or smile at customers.. so far i oni encountered thrice.. one of them is a cute cute guy.. keke.. he is younger den me i think.. but he looks very cute.. tanned and young and vibrant.. wooo la la!! and he is very frenli noe?? hahahhaha not bad la.. miss him sial.. so cute so shy shy likdat.. hehehehe.. okok back to topic. So, next time when u step into a shop, unless they greet u, i think u can forget abt smiling to the assistants.. coz most probably, they either return u a fake smile, or they dun smile at all..

SHOPPING :
Oh yeah baby its a great place for shopping n look see look see jalan jalan!!! The merchandise they carry consists of overseas and LOCALS!! some pretty cool shops u can nv find in sg or far away places! although they hav their own branded goods.. they sell the goods at even higher price in SG!! so huh.. agar agar.. see oni, dun buy.. I also saw this reali cool art n craft shop.. the clothes, bags, slippers and bags are all done using beads and sequenes! sounds boring? i can tell u, the design they carry are very very gorgeous type! artistic and absolutely pleasant to eyes!! and i mean ALL the merchandise they carry!! i dunno how to describle.. mayb u should go see nxt time at the Petronas (shoppin area). The adidas and nike goods are roughly abt the same price as sg or even higher.. so din grab those stuffs..

However, the other unbranded shoez are cheap n nice!! i bought a pair for myself at oni RM39.90, and a pair for seanie for RM49.90!! its a steal!! BUT by coincidence, after i bought, den i realise my shoe has the same brown but different material as seanie's. -_-`... he thinks i did it purposely la.. sickenin..
Also, u get to see alot of 'Branded' goods like LV, CD, Levi's, Armani...etc. Perfumes and bags. wow how REAL can they get!! haha... i saw them at Chee Chiong Kai. near my hotel area. not bad la quite an eye opener.. looks quite real.. but i wanted to buy unbranded and cool lookin things. Quite disappointing.. oni got a couple of gd merchandise(to me lah). And bought foodstuffs lik culttle fish, durain cakes, dou sha bing(The brand 'HUA SHI FU' is highly recommended. u can find it at FU RONG shop.. opposite LOT 10 shoppin mall in Bukit Bintang), gong tang, prawn crackers(very huge pieces unlike sg, small n broken pieces in a packet!! 3 for RM10), etc.

yes it is a shoppin heaven! i wil go there again next yr! great! den use one day to go up genting. yeah yeah. we can go together den!! yumm yumm!!

FOOD :

I can onli say, the more log cock place u go, the more yummy the food is!!! im not makin a joke! i tried their kenny rogers.. yuckzz.. i tried their coffee shop food.. wah yum... i tried they roadside stall.. wah sei dun try will regret arh!! and its cheap at the coffee shops and roadside stalls. One big bowl of prawn mee is oni RM4!! less den SG's $2 lehhh!!! so nice to eat... their prawns not big prawns, but the prawns very fresh, they give 4 prawns i tink. and the soup... wahhhhhhh red red.. not chilli noe?? is the concentrated soup of prawn heads!!! yummm yummmmm!!!!!!!! their roti prata also nice! crispy and very fragrant!!
Their roadside stall cannot fight with singapore coffeeshop also.. wah damn nice.. they got satay, and those type of bbq tau pok, luo han guo drink, local snackz(keropok, sesame biscuits, sweet snackz, etc. alot of thingz i dunno is wad food hahaha)!!
